Born in Washington, D.C. Attended Public Schools. Have AA Degree, and MANY awards and certificates for Music. Has been playing piano since 5 years old ( without formal training). I have played professionally for the past 40 years. I began in Elementary school with solos and musical/acting parts in plays. I have always had a talent for acting and singing which came natually as a gift from God. My piano style is semi-classical, Gospel and pop, and I can play anything that a person sings, including many anthems ( totally by ear).
I have traveled to Italy, France., Germany, Denmark, Austria, Spain, Switzerland, Belgium, Istanbul- Turkey, The Black Forest, The Canary Islands, and many small countries.

Traveled to 82 cities in EUROPE in 2004 as the lead female vocal for a Gospel musical called "Happiness" with The famous Harlen Gospel Singers of NYC.

1968-1976 Performed in Night clubs around the Washington D.C, area as star performer (feature) i.e., the Ed Murphy's Supper Club, The Capitol Hilton, The Lowe's Le'Fant Plaza, and The Baa Baa Room, and the Georgetown Inn.

T.V. Performances include Washington, D.C.'s Harombee' ( then on Channel 9- CBS) which was a live talk show featuring local talent. The "Saturday Night Sing"- Chicago, IL.., with Mr. Taft Harris, The Jose Carracass Special Telethon in Leipsaic, Germany in 2004 as a guest singer, a Special televised editorial of my song" The Day America Cried" A TRIBUTE TO THE CHALLENGER FLIGHT (Channel 7 ABC ) in 1986( which I wrote , performed, played and produced).
Many local gospel productions on Washington, D.C.Church telecasts i.e., THE JERICHO CITY TELECAST.

Special Notes; Traveled for 4 months tour throughout Europe in 2004 as the featured female artist fot the FAMOUS HARLEM GOSPEL SINGERS OF N.Y. touring 80 cities.

ALBUMS: I produced 5 times including: Lynda Tait Randell, Norris Garner, Myself, and peices for the group of which I am a part. THe B.L. ands S. SIngers of Washington, D.C. of whom I have been a part for 40 years with 6 albums to our credit. 9 THe last being a live recording at the Montreaux JAZZ Festival in Switzerland in 1992.

I have been the musical consulatnt and producer for several schools in the Washington area, including the "Open Hands Christian Academy" for which I trained children in Music, produced musical plays, built theatrical props for the plays, taught dance and enhanced acting skills.

I play weekly and direct a large aggregation of Singers; rehearsing once a week for each group. I currently work ALSO with special needs adults teaching music selections for special seasons of the year, and performing programs to celebrate those seasons.

Final Note: Have been featured on various radio talk show in the washington Area and have been noted for my speaking voice and offered On-Air Personality Positions.

IN THE GREAT MARCH ON WASHINGTON AND WAS VERY HONORED TO BE SEATED AMONG THE GREATEST SINGERS IN THE WORLD i.e., MAHALIA JACKSON, HARRY BELEFONTE' ,SAMMY DAVIS, JR. AND OTHERS. (2) I WAS THE FIRST BLACK FEMALE TO PERFORM AT THE INNAUGURAL SEASON OF THE KENNEDY CENTER IN WASHINGTON, D.C. ALONG WITH JOE WILLIAMS, CANNONBALL ADDERLY, STAN FREEMAN, Roberta Flack AND OTHERS IN 1971.
I HAVE CITATIONS AND AWARDS FOR FORMING SINGING AGGREGATIONS INTHE WASHINGTON AREA SINCE 1970'S
(3) MADE US HISTORY IN 1986 BY WRITING, PRODUCING, performing AND RELEASING A TRIBUTE TO THE CHALLENGER IN 3 DAYS ( time from the day of the tradgedy) WHICH WENT AROUND THE WORLD ENTITLED: "The Day America Cried"

(4) performed on the Washington Monument grounds for Black History Television special as Singer, musician in early -2004.

(5) 2004-( FALL) Honored as the FEMALE FEATURE of the International Tour of the Harlem Gospel SIngers of New York City which toured 80 cities in 4 months.

I adore music of all forms. I am partial to Inspiration/Anthems and Gospel. In the past I have formed choirs from Teaching Staff of a Public School, Children's choir from a public school. Currently training troubled teens weekly in studio performance; instructing in harmonics, performance, and decorum.
I HAVE A SINCERE INTEREST IN THE FIELD OF ACTING, AND ASPIRE TO DO A MOVIE PART.

I want to do a part in a movie as a mature mom, grandmom, auntie or even a wife. i am a
natural actress and can produce tears on command. A televison performance is my first goal, fhen on fo fhe movie.

I plan to record again using songs I have written by the middle of 2008.
